We’re very excited to welcome Brian Del Giudice to the ATF team. Finding the right UX designer has been quite a challenge; “We were looking for someone who has the creative vision as well as really solid problem solving skills,” says Heather O’Neill, VP of Operations. ATF has been expanding the team of UX consultants, designers, and researchers over the past year, most recently to include Brian, a talented UX designer.

It doesn’t take a UX professional to know censorship causes a bad user experience. The battle against SOPA and PIPA was won, but the war on Internet censorship isn’t over. Anti-piracy bills will return, in some other form, and we need to watch out for them.

To ring in 2012, we’re taking stock of how far we’ve come, and giving some thought to the direction we are heading.
